What does the second opinion include?
Initial Consultation:
Embark on your cardiac health journey with our world-renowned doctors, who are all experts in both traditional and minimally invasive procedures. During the initial 45-minute consultation, our specialists thoroughly assess your cardiac health, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of your unique needs. These consultations can be arranged online at your convenience, or better still, face-to-face at one of our UK sites.
Image Collection:
We assist in obtaining the necessary cardiac images for any relevant tests which you have already undergone. These will be transferred to our servers for clinical review.
Multi-Disciplinary Team Presentation:
Once we have collected all the information and relevant tests, your clinical history and cardiac findings are jointly reviewed by our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). This collaborative approach aims to offer a well-rounded opinion on the best treatment options and the suitability for keyhole procedures.
Recommendations for further tests:
We will advise on any further tests that will be required to fully evaluate your cardiac status. If you wish, we can perform these tests for you, or request that your local cardiac team consider performing the tests for you as you require.
Our Second Opinion Report
We will arrange your you to be able to upload your existing reports onto our secure patient portal for our doctors to review. We can also assist in collating these reports for you if you struggle to obtain them*. At the end of the process, we will provide you with a detailed report summary to share with your local team.
